Michaël Lalanne-Tinés, R&D Intern

“I decided to do my internship for my diploma in the formulation of polymers and adhesives with Technoflex. I have enjoyed an opportunity to discover the medical materials sector: a sector that is little-known but highly interesting. By taking part in the development of new, innovative products within the R&D department I was able to put into practice the theory I had learned. I carry out a variety of tasks such as the characterization of materials, setting up tests, producing samples, analysing results and writing reports.

To understand Technoflex’s position in this type of industry and the way in which R&D contributes to the development of the products of the future, it was first of all necessary to learn vocabulary related to the health field as well as the rules and standards governing this sector.

The fact of taking part in the advancement of several products, with a lot of autonomy, has made my internship really enriching.”
