“We have been working with Technoflex every year for the past four years during National Industry Week, in order to showcase the industry sector in the Basque Country. As part of this and with the aim of informing, Technoflex has opened its doors to students from the Montaury d’Anglet campus of the IUT, Léon Bérard de St-Palais secondary school, St-Joseph d’Hasparren high school and Aturri de St-Pierre d’Irube secondary school. These visits afford us better knowledge of the industry professions, and correct certain oversimplified perceptions of the field. But the relationship between Technoflex and our chamber of commerce and industry does not stop there: we support the company in its exportation formalities and ongoing training schemes, as well as organising meetings and discussions on topics such as responsible purchasing and innovation. Technoflex also took part in the Silicone Liquide project lead by Bihartean, our cross-border Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Being able to work, discuss and set up projects in favour of local economic development with a company like Technoflex is essential for our Chamber. It is a very constructive, mutually beneficial relationship.”
