Stem cells are used in the treatment of more than 80 illnesses such as leukaemia, lymphoma and various other blood-related illnesses. After being extracted from the blood from umbilical cords or the spinal cord they are preserved in EVA bags at -196°C until being grown. SafeCell® FEP bags provide the response for the ex-vivo cell culture. Chemically and biologically inert, FEP is also highly transparent and allows safe, easy cell observation.
