Technoflex wins an award!

Selected by a panel composed of entrepreneurs and experts, Technoflex has won the Plastics Processing Trophy in the “International Development” category. The prize was given to Olivier Chesnoy, Managing Director of Technoflex, by Gilles Mazzolini, Managing Director of Sumitomo France (injection press manufacturer) during the Plasturgie du Futur Conference which was held on 25 November 2015 in Paris. It rewards Technoflex’s development, having achieved 69% of its turnover abroad in 2014.

 Marketing authorisations in 2015: a sharp increase

During 2015, 93 new medicines were approved by the EMA (European Medicines Agency) compared with 82 in the preceding year. These approvals concerned 39 new active ingredients (including 13 anti-cancer) and 18 orphan medicines, 5 of which benefited from an accelerated approval procedure. It should also be noted that the EMA recommended 54 extensions of indication.
